Conquering the Mountains or Conquering Ourselves ?

I took the above picture when I did my Birthday climb up Mount Kinabalu last week on 3 Dec 2013, Tuesday, 6.30am.

If you look closely enough, you’ll see a beacon of light and a man following behind. This is as like us in life…

We may have to follow the light, cross lots of turbulences, hurdles, obstacles before we could reach the summit. Many times, it was more tempting to give up than proceed on. But when we arrive at the summit, we realised that it wasn’t the summit that we had conquered, but ourselves… 🙂
